Iwantja Arts is regarded as one of Australia’s premier Indigenous art centres, operating from Indulkana Community in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the remote north west of South Australia. Home to a large number of high profile Anangu artists, Iwantja Arts is renowned for consistently delivering innovative and culturally rich projects with prestigious outcomes that celebrate Anangu cultural strength and artistic excellence.


The role of Iwantja Arts Art Centre Manager offers a unique professional experience and exciting career pathway for an individual with a robust and diverse fine art skillset, demonstrated business acumen and resolute drive and determination. The successful applicant will work with the art centre’s Indigenous board of directors, art workers and over 30 artists in a busy and fast-paced studio environment. The successful applicant will work with a commitment to principles of self-determination and best practice governance to support and deliver the strategic vision of the Anangu elders and community leaders who make up Iwantja Arts’ board of directors.
